The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial reporting process and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely insights to support business decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting audit processes.
- Managing tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, and income tax.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Supporting the implementation of systems and tools to streamline financial operations.
- You are a CA/CPA qualified accountant with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident managing deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience managing a small transactional team.
