Your role will focus on managing work runs, supporting field staff, and optimising processes for the installation, collection, and storage of hire equipment. You will be the go-to person for problem-solving in the field, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving operational improvements.
Additionally, you will play a key role in stock management, workforce planning, and upholding workplace health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership – Manage daily branch operations, logistics, and workforce planning.
- Team Management – Lead and support drivers, jockeys, and operations staff.
- Customer Service – Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure high service levels.
- Scheduling & Logistics – Plan and optimise work runs for efficient service delivery.
- Stock & Inventory Control – Oversee stock movement, reporting, and warehousing.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure all activities align with safety policies and best practices.
- Business Growth – Identify opportunities to expand services and improve processes.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role, ideally in logistics or operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and optimise workflows.
- Full Australian Driver’s Licence required.
- Forklift Licence (High Risk Work Licence) required.
