They are looking for a Plant Manager to join the team based in Melbourne.
About the Role
As Plant Manager, you'll report to the GM of Operations and oversee the Melbourne plant, leading it towards operational excellence. You'll also provide strategic guidance to operations leaders in Perth and Brisbane. You will be directly responsible for the compliant and functional operation of the Melbourne site including facilities management, while working closely with all divisions of the business. A strong focus of this role will be driving the development of the local staff of the site. The successful candidate will be a results-driven leader with a proven track record in manufacturing management and will have the ability to build relationships.
Skills & Experience
- You'll ideally have a qualification in Supply Chain or Engineering with extensive experience in an operations environment.
- Management of dangerous goods facility desirable.
- Ability to lead the site autonomously.
- Good organisation and project management skills.
- MRP based production and purchasing systems preferred.
- Skills using Mapics and D365.
