The Opportunity
Our client are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Specialist to the business who will take full ownership over ensuring the accurate and efficient undertaking of all associated end-to-end payroll duties as listed below. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have full autonomy, working alongside members of both the HR and internal finance teams to ensure everyone gets paid accurately, compliantly and on time within the business!
Job Responsibilities
- Processing fortnightly payroll for 100 employees
- Interpretation of all applicable industry awards
- Onboarding of new starters and handling terminations
- Responding to payroll queries
- Handling of payroll salary increases and assisting with end of month and end of year activities
- Administrative duties: filling, set up new employee folder, hand out starter pack, collect police check and reimburse police check expense
- Previous experience in payroll at a senior level
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
