Due to growth, and internal talent development, they now require a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team.

The Role
  • Manage P&L and Balance Sheet for all group entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise monthly reconciliations, tax compliance, and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Generate monthly reports for senior management, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Compile detailed quarterly board reports to communicate financial performance.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive Financial Statements.
  • Assist in the annual audit process, collaborating with auditors for a thorough examination of financial records.
  • Manage Operational Expenditure (OPEX) against budget, conducting regular reviews for optimization.
  • Maintain insurance portfolios, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk profile.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Accounting, Tax, and Reporting standards.
About the Successful Candidate
  • Demonstrates intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards.
  • Qualified as a CA or CPA with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Previous exposure to the construction industry or a related field is advantageous.
  • Exhibits excellent analytical skills and the ability to formulate and present detailed reports.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management acumen.
  • Proactively engages as a business partner, actively cultivating and sustaining relationships, and collaboratively addressing challenges with key stakeholders.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, adept at tactful negotiation and problem resolution.
  • Upholds discretion and reliability, displaying a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.
  • Holds Australian residency and is qualified to work in Australia.
