With a collaborative and inclusive culture, it is expanding and seeking a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers exposure to senior leadership and the chance to directly impact the business’s long-term success.
The Role
This role plays a pivotal part within the finance team, focusing on core financial functions and strategic projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and detailed reports for senior management.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations across individual entities and consolidated accounts.
- Supporting project feasibility assessments and performing variance analysis.
- Managing cash flow forecasting and providing insightful analysis.
- Maintaining the fixed asset register for the group, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Overseeing bank drawdown schedules for facilities and development projects.
- Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting across the business.
- Reviewing intercompany transactions and managing monthly reconciliations.
- Preparing BAS statements and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Leading ad hoc projects and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
You are a fully qualified CA or CPA, ideally with property development experience, bringing a mix of technical expertise and commercial insight. As a proactive self-starter, you’re comfortable working independently and thrive in dynamic environments. You have:
- Proven experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Attention to detail, organisational abilities, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with various stakeholders.
