Role Overview: This position entails managing the monthly financial close and generating management reports for multiple entities. The role also includes balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliation. A key function is ensuring the efficient operation of the Finance team and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the month-end financial close, ensuring reports are completed within deadlines.
- Ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting processes.
- Post necessary journal entries and adjustments for month-end processes.
- Ensure financial information is accurately reflected and fully substantiated.
- Contribute to external audits and tax return preparations.
- Oversee payroll-related activities, including accruals and adjustments.
- Manage and update internal financial reporting systems.
- Lead the process of generating weekly and monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and analyses as requested by various departments.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting.
- Support any acquisition-related due diligence and subsequent financial integration efforts.
- Play a role in the implementation of new financial systems.
- Lead efforts to improve the Accounts Payable process, addressing issues and optimizing performance.
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and ensure the smooth handling of invoices.
- Track and monitor regular financial tasks, ensuring their timely completion.
