Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
Manage all aspects of tax compliance of GST, FBT and BAS. - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Support business decisions through the provision of accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent, with a professional qualification (CA or CPA).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience ideally within the logistics, supply chain or transportation industry.
- Experience using large ERPs such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax and treasury reporting is ideal.
