Role Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate with project teams and key stakeholders to thoroughly understand remediation efforts, including products, systems, and data environments. Your focus will be on analyzing source data and ensuring alignment with remediation goals within the health insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technical experts to gain insights into remediation processes and data structures.
- Convert business requirements into precise data rules and develop SQL queries to retrieve the necessary information from various systems.
- Create and implement data management solutions that support remediation efforts, including scope management, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Provide valuable insights and support to project managers through detailed business and data analysis.
- Validate extracted data with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency with the remediation plan by integrating multiple data sources into a single, coherent output.
- Develop calculation methodologies that ensure fair and efficient resolution for impacted customers.
- Conduct quality checks to verify data integrity and compliance with remediation standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis activities to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
- Identify, log, and prioritize potential risks and issues, ensuring they are addressed effectively.
- Proactively identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Hands-on experience in delivering remediation or large-scale customer-focused transformation initiatives.
- Background in customer remediation projects with a strong focus on data analysis within the health insurance sector.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into precise data rules, leveraging SQL to extract meaningful insights from both short-term and long-term data repositories.
- Expertise in working with large datasets and extracting actionable insights using tools like SQL, SAS, and Power BI.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, scenario testing, and reporting.
- A degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Capable of leading discussions, presenting ideas effectively, and influencing decision-making processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, subject matter experts, and teams across Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Finance.
- Skilled in documenting current and future state processes and business requirements in collaboration with process owners.
- Experience in developing use cases to support business initiatives.
- A collaborative team player who can also operate independently, ensuring key objectives are met.
- Experience working within Agile environments and contributing to iterative project delivery.
- Practical experience in managing remediation initiatives and projects.
- Experience working within the health insurance industry.
