Our client’s ICT Delivery team manages a substantial portfolio of ICT projects, focusing on implementing operational technologies, transforming core technology platforms, and overseeing an annual investment of up to $40 million.
As the Senior Cyber Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering multiple projects across the Cyber Security, Network, and Operational Technology domains.
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan and execute projects to meet agreed budgets, schedules, and quality requirements, tracking and reporting on progress in alignment with our client’s Project Management Framework.
- Apply project and change management disciplines, processes, and tools to identify, design, and implement fit-for-purpose solutions for each project.
- Quickly identify and assess key stakeholders, gather technical, functional, and business requirements, and define objectives and benefits for each initiative.
- Develop comprehensive business cases that outline high-level strategies, budgets, timelines, technology stacks, and preferred vendor selections for presentation to the client’s leadership team. Monitor and report on project delivery status, producing required documentation.
- Manage the procurement of individuals, resources, and suppliers needed to achieve project objectives, ensuring compliance with the client’s policies.
- Facilitate effective two-way engagement and deliver clear, transparent communication to key stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with other business units and project teams to manage interdependencies and ensure projects deliver optimal business benefits at the right time.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset by refining delivery methodologies, tools, and artefacts.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships to ensure project delivery aligns with agreed contracts and tender agreements.
- Positively represent and embody the values and behaviors of our client, supporting the successful delivery of their services.
- Proven experience in delivering projects within the Cyber Security, Network, and Operational Technology domains.
- Strong technical knowledge of key cyber concepts, including IT/OT segregation and Zero Trust networks.
- Deep understanding of the planning and effort required to pilot, test, and seamlessly transition users and data between custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf systems.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to navigate ambiguity while demonstrating resilience, perseverance, and tenacity.
- Skilled at seamlessly shifting between strategic vision and detailed tactical work plans.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Degree qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience running projects in asset intensive industries
- 7+ years’ experience in IT project management
- Project Management Qualification, PMP, Prince2 or similar
- ITIL or ITSM Certification preferred
