- Develop and Implement Security Solutions – Design and deploy Cyber Security measures that align with industry regulations and internal security policies to minimize business risks.
- Risk Assessment & Compliance – Partner with various business units and risk teams to evaluate security needs through risk assessments and business impact analysis.
- Security Strategy & Architecture – Work alongside the Cyber Security Architect to shape security roadmaps, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry certifications.
- Advisory & Project Involvement – Provide security guidance in application development and organizational projects, ensuring controls align with policies and risk exposure.
- Threat Monitoring & Response – Stay ahead of emerging Cyber Security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies while balancing risk tolerance across the organization.
- Security Framework Development – Create and maintain security architecture documentation, including design templates, standards, and baselines to support secure project execution.
- Incident Response & Threat Management – Contribute to incident response efforts, ensuring effective containment and recovery from critical security events.
- Vendor & Technology Management – Collaborate with key vendors and technology partners to optimize security solutions and assess new tools, making recommendations based on risk, cost, and operational impact.
- Expertise in Windows Infrastructure with hands-on experience managing and securing enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of Cyber Security frameworks and standards, including Essential 8, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, web application firewalls, and content filtering solutions.
- Strong knowledge of system and application security testing methodologies, including common vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and threat mitigation strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of information risk management, effectively aligning security controls with business objectives and project requirements.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels of the organization, earning trust and influencing security decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex security concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Extensive experience with enterprise security solutions, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices, ensuring robust protection across IT infrastructure.
