The Opportunity
 
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator to lead our administrative team. In this role, you will oversee two administrative staff, ensuring smooth office operations, managing compliance tasks, and providing high-level support to our accountants. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of accounting and corporate compliance processes.
 
 Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage, mentor, and support two administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Accounting & Compliance Support: Assist with ASIC and ATO lodgements, manage corporate secretarial tasks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key contact for clients, managing correspondence, appointments, and document requests.
  • Office Administration & Systems Management: Maintain accurate client records in Xero and have used workflow management tools.
  • Process & Efficiency Improvements: Identify and implement best practices to enhance administrative and compliance processes.
  • Operational Support: Oversee document management, file tax and financial reports, and assist with workflow coordination across the firm. 
What We’re Looking For
 
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing or mentoring a small team within a professional or financial services environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of corporate compliance procedures, and accounting software such as Xero.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask, collaborate, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and discretion in handling sensitive financial and client information.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive approach with the ability to streamline processes and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent Communication & Client Service: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
