We’re looking for an experienced Functional Security Architect to support a critical program of work focused on major platform migrations across ERP systems like SAP ECC6, S/4HANA, and Infor WFM.
This role will drive the finalisation of a functional security blueprint and lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable solutions that support payroll, finance, logistics, and workforce management functions.
You'll collaborate with a range of internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment with broader architecture plans and secure-by-design principles throughout the program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement secure SAP security methodologies aligned with enterprise policies.
- Lead role design and Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks across SAP environments.
- Design SAP IAM solutions, including SAP IdM, Cloud Identity Services, and Entra integrations.
- Oversee GRC initiatives aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR standards.
- Secure hybrid SAP environments across on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Define and deliver a SAP Security Roadmap to support continuous improvement.
- Advise senior stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture.
- Establish audit, monitoring, and compliance frameworks for ongoing risk mitigation.
- Champion automation and standardised security configurations.
- Mentor teams and drive knowledge sharing across security and architecture groups.
Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive experience across at least three full-cycle SAP security implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP GRC (ARM, BRM, EAM, ARA) and scalable access model design.
- Expertise in SAP role architecture and hybrid cloud integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP IdM, federated authentication, and Entra integration.
- A track record of delivering secure, consistent solutions across complex environments.
- Ability to define strategic roadmaps and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in S/4HANA and BTP migrations, with modern security models.
- Strong documentation skills and blueprint development.
- A collaborative, advisory approach, able to influence technical and business leaders.
