A leading QLD Government agency is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect – Human Capital Management (HCM) to provide expert advice and technical leadership on their SAP HR/Payroll solution. This role is pivotal in ensuring system maintenance, support, design, and configuration align with service delivery and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise SAP HCM solutions, ensuring seamless integration across ERP, SaaS, PaaS, and hybrid/cloud technologies.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Assess and enhance SAP ERP integration effectiveness, recommending improvements to boost system performance.
- Lead solution updates and upgrades in line with best practices and vendor recommendations.
- Provide strategic direction on technology investments to maximise value and minimise risks.
- Strong expertise in SAP Payroll and SAP Fi/Co integration, with experience in large-scale SAP ERP solutions.
- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Integration (or SAP PI/PO) for designing and implementing complex integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to document technical designs effectively.
- High-level communication skills, with experience consulting, negotiating, and presenting technical solutions.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, balancing enterprise-level architecture with hands-on technical implementation.
