About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled SAP Finance Analyst to help us address and resolve issues related to manufacturing usage variance (MUV) that are currently affecting the financial bottom line. The primary focus will be on:
- Standard cost adjustment processes and ensuring they are correctly reflected in costing BOMs.
- Proper cost attribution to process orders for labour and services.
- Understanding and managing cost behaviour during various process phases.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to analyse orders from 2022, 2023, and 2024 to identify the root causes of the MUV issues.
- Assess current processes and refine them to ensure all steps are completed and aligned with SAP best practices.
- Design a scope of work to address root causes if system changes or development are required.
- Create standard operating procedures detailing best practice processes for the ongoing update of financial master data.
- Work with our Finance team and fiscal auditors to adjust historical financial losses.
- Liaise with their SAP partner for technical execution where necessary.
- Extensive experience with SAP S4/HANA FI/CO (certifications preferred).
- Knowledge of SAP best practice processes for Finance.
- Strong understanding of financial management, planning, and analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in financial master data management.
- Experience in dairy processing is highly advantageous.
- Initial contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
- Hybrid role with site attendance required at both Korumburra and South Melbourne.
