About the Role:
They are seeking an experienced and proactive Risk Manager to manage and enhance the organization's risk management framework. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Corporate Services, you will play a key role in safeguarding the organization’s assets, reputation, and operations while ensuring the safety of their staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of organizational risks and incidents.
- Manage and improve their risk management framework and associated systems.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a business continuity roadmap.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on risk and incident management to leadership teams, committees, and the board.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors, IT service providers, and legal consultants on risk-related matters.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and deliver training on best practices in risk management.
You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in risk management, ideally within the health sector, Not for Profit or similar multidisciplinary environments. You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, and you thrive in roles requiring collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management frameworks and incident systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards and cyber risk assessments (preferred).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
