Reporting to the Site Manager, as Production Manager, you’ll spearhead operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing, strict quality control, and team development. Your role involves leading a proficient team to achieve production targets, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to meet production targets efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee operational processes to maintain optimum efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize operations.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to drive employee development.
- Analyse data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
- Plan and execute strategies to achieve site goals, including budget control and resource allocation.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience managing a team within a food or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent numerical and computer skills, along with familiarity with ERP systems.
- Qualification in Engineering, Science or Food Technology desired but not essential.
