Job Overview:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and services essential for the production of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, deep market knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. You will work closely with our production, R&D, and finance teams to optimize sourcing strategies, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality or timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct materials in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, R&D, finance) to align procurement activities with product and business needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services to meet production schedules.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to assess performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, systems, and policies.
  • Manage procurement budgets and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials.
  • Proven track record in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, manufacturing environments, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
