About the Role:

Sharp & Carter are thrilled to be partnering with a leading global law firm as they seek a proactive and detail-oriented Practice Management Assistant to join their high-performing team in the CBD. This full-time, permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a global law firm by supporting practice group operations and delivering exceptional administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to partners and legal teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently.
  • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, legal documents, and presentations.
  • Manage billing processes, including drafting invoices, monitoring accounts, and overseeing expense management.
  • Liaise with the financial team, demonstrating strong financial acumen in handling billing, invoicing, expense management, and reporting.
  • Manage deadlines effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on time with accuracy.
  • Maintain and update client databases and internal practice management systems.
  • Assist partners and lawyers with secretarial duties and functions as required.
  • Oversee the accurate completion of relevant documentation and filings.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support general office management tasks as needed to enhance team productivity.
About You:

To excel in this position, you will bring:
  • Experience in an administrative or support role within a professional services environment, preferably in legal practice (highly regarded).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with practice management systems or billing software (advantageous).
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
