Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Inspire staff to embrace the company’s vision, purpose, mission, and core values.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that enhances employee attraction, engagement, and retention.
- Implement and manage initiatives to build high-performance teams.
- Oversee the KPI review process and performance manage staff to attain outstanding results.
- Develop and execute training and development programs.
- Design and implement talent acquisition strategies.
- Manage the implementation of succession planning initiatives.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, drafting contracts and employee letters, and offboarding.
- Support probation reviews and exit interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records and data.
- Draft employee correspondence and documentation including position descriptions, contracts, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Manage OH&S and workers’ compensation claims, including return-to-work coordination.
- Deliver business-wide operational objectives from end to end within set timeframes.
- Manage and personally execute various operational projects.
- Analyse data and prepare reports on operational matters.
- Ensure adherence to processes, policies, and frameworks.
- Develop templates, processes, documentation, and processing manuals.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy at all times.
- Support marketing and communications strategies, including content creation and industry award submissions.
- Foster a culture of compliance excellence.
- Operationalise and embed various compliance initiatives across the business.
- Support successful internal and external audits.
- Work with stakeholders to mitigate risk and improve response protocols.
- Prepare reports and file documents with relevant regulators and authorities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in relevant regulations.
- Experience with progressive HR management.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record in building and managing high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (highly advantageous).
- Experience in process development, documentation, and training.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High degree of autonomy with a collaborative approach.
