The Responsibilities:
- Process payroll transactions, timesheets via online rostering systems, termination payments, salary packaging and establish new starters in payroll system within identified timeframes.
- Inputting new employee details into payroll and time tracking systems, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Compiling exception reports and cross-checking scheduled hours against actual hours worked to identify inconsistencies and ensure compliance with relevant agreements and regulations.
- Addressing payroll-related queries and escalating issues as needed for resolution.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll and time & attendance system.
- Previous experience using Preceda or any large ERP system is valued.
- Prior experience working in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
