They are looking for aPayroll Officer to join their team on a genuine 6 month contract to permanent opportunity. The position is based in Macquarie Park, conveniently located near the metro/train station, with the option to WFH (work-from-home) 2 days a week + free on-site parking. The Role

Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, your tasks will include:
  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing on a weekly basis
  • Respond to payroll queries in a timely manner 
  • Assist with payroll calculations and general duties such as maintaining employee database, entering new hires etc. 
  • Assisting with key payroll projects
  • Ensure all relevant awards are adhered to. 
  • Administer employee payroll and records, including engagement, deductions, superannuation allowances, reimbursements, leave and other related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
  • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
  • Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively and as a team across departments. 
  • Assist Payroll Manager in mentoring the wide payroll team. 
About you:

You will have prior experience in a similar payroll position, along with the following attributes:
  • Experience Kronus is ideal but please still apply even if you do not have this prior experience! 
  • High level analytical skills
  • Excellent communications skills and team-player
