Our client is a well-known multinational organization and leader in their field. They are seeking a switched-on, experienced Payroll Officer to join their growing organisation. They boast a close-knit working environment and positive working culture. Due movement in the team, they are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their supportive team on a permanent basis, full-time basis.
Duties
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for full-function payroll as follows:
- Processing weekly payroll for approximately 300-400 employes
- New starters and terminations
- Award interpretation (approximately 16 different EBAs)
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments and allowances
- Superannuation processing
- Payroll tax/PAYG
- Handling payroll queries
Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position coupled with excellent full-function payroll knowledge
- Experience using iChris, Chris 21, or other large payroll platforms, is essential
- Experience with Kronos or similar time and attendance systems
- Experience interpreting EBAs and awards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team-based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Willingness to learn and be a team player
