Our Client:
Our client is a prominent player in the Finance and Administration sector, known for their unwavering commitment to prioritizing both client satisfaction and employee well-being. We are currently seeking a dynamic Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to expand their skills in the payroll sector and is eager to tackle new challenges and contribute to fostering robust partnerships that drive organizational excellence and advancement.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working collaboratively amongst a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Process and manage employee payroll accurately and timely
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams
- Assist with payroll systems implementation and maintenance
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
- Conduct regular data integrity audits
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processes
- Provide training and support on payroll matters
- Contribute to payroll process improvements
About You:
To be considered as a successful applicant for this business, You will have proven experience in payroll processing and administration, along with a strong knowledge of payroll systems, software, and related legislation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is one of your strengths. Your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enable you to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy finance environment.
