An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Payroll professional to join their team based in Melbourne's North-West, and take ownership of the payroll function. This is a rare opportunity, for those looking for their next challenge on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week) in a workplace where you feel valued and respected. 

The Duties
The responsibilities of the role will consist of the following; however not limited to:
  • Processing fortnightly payroll for 150+ employees
  • Interpretation and application of EBA and awards
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
  • Prepare and lodge payroll tax and superannuation
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Processing salary packaging arrangements to maximise staff take-home pay
  • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees queries
  • Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Reporting at the end of the month

Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful application will have a strong background in payroll, with an ability & passion to confidently take ownership of the payroll function. You will have effective time management and organisational skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a broader team setting. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible will be essential for this position.
