The role reports to the Senior Project Manager. It will involve a considerable amount of stakeholder engagement and consultation. The change manager will be operating in an environment of limited established change management practices. Therefore, the ability to adapt, to be proactive in problem solving and to work effectively within the team and autonomously will be crucial for success.
Key areas of focus
- Change Planning and Strategy - Develop comprehensive change management strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder engagement - Identify key stakeholders impacted by the change and develop engagement plans for each group
- Communication and training - Develop and execute communication plans that keep all stakeholders informed of the changes, progress, and milestones. Coordinate the development and delivery of training materials and programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge for the change.
- Change Implementation - Oversee the execution of change initiatives, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Resistance Management - Identify sources of resistance to change and Develop strategies to mitigate resistance by leveraging change champions and providing targeted coaching
- Evaluation and Feedback - Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives. Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to continuously improve change management processes.
- Documentation and Reporting - Maintain detailed records of change initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
