About the Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of six, driving efficiency, safety, and best practices across all logistics operations. This is a hands-on role, where you'll be actively involved on the floor, working alongside your team to ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll lead by example, providing guidance, troubleshooting challenges in real time, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance and mentoring to a skilled logistics team fostering a collaborative environment
- Overseeing stock levels, audits, and replenishment strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing inbound and outbound transport, optimising routes, and negotiating service agreements with providers.
- Identifying operational gaps and implementing innovative solutions using data-driven insights.
- Ensuring transparency, timely updates, and strong service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based in Cannon Hill, QLD.
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced operations leader who enjoys working within a FMCG logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehousing operations. With an understanding of cold chain / stores
- Strong understanding of inventory management, transportation, and compliance regulations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and inspire a team.
