The Operations Director leads the implementation of the business strategy across all elements of the business, including production, quality, safety, operational efficiency, maintenance, capital investment, risk and compliance:
- Develop and execute the company's operational strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes and ensure seamless coordination between departments.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering an energetic culture that is respectful, collaborative and focused.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers to enhance collaboration and drive customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the food, beverage or dairy industry;
- Experience leading cross functional leaders across production, technical, engineering, risk, HR and finance;
- Demonstrated track record of successfully driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards of food production;
