The ANZ Foodservice Field Sales Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of the allocated Field Sales Team/s to facilitate the achievement of sales growth and goals in-line with corporate objectives for the country.
The key objective of this role is to ensure that McCain is “First Choice in Foodservice” and helps the business to achieve sustainable, profitable market share in the categories McCain operates in, the Australian and New Zealand Foodservice marketplace.
This role with have 6 State Managers as direct reports and a total team of 35 across ANZ.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for Street Business including Sales, Market Share, New Product Launches, Growth through Sales Representatives.
- Manage and direct Sales Representatives to enable them to manage and develop strong relationships with their End user and Distributor accounts
- Develop a strategic Business plan for key End user Business and pull through plans at Distributor level nationally
- Implement End user Quarterly Focus Activity and Sales Blitz Activity through Sales Representatives
- Ensure the full Sales Team are actively engaged being advocates of the McCain business in a high performing Team
- Understanding of End-users and Distributors at all levels of the Foodservice Industry is desirable
- Previous experience as a State Sales Manager/ National Field Sales Manager or similar role is preferred, particularly in a Foodservice environment
- Previous experience supervising a team in a similar environment would be beneficial
- A strong team player with the ability to relate to and build relationships with all levels of the organisation – as well the ability to promote the McCain Foods image in the marketplace
- Ability for frequent National travel
