About the role

This is a newly created role managing Major Grocery accounts across both branded and private label product categories. In joining this ASX listed FMCG giant at this exciting time of change, you will be charged with establishing and driving the portfolio development strategy through effective customer engagement, financial management, market and insight analytics as well as NPD project management.

Duties
  • Development and execution of ongoing strategic category development business plans to deliver improved performance in the areas of sales growth, share of shelf, return on space, effective range management
  • Maintain continuous category forecasts and assist on financial budgets
  • Monitor competitor activity and effectively report on competitor activities
  • Build and maintain effective robust and collaborative trading relationships
  • Project management of customer specific NPD and product changes
  • Manage account administration including tenders, new product, claims, deletions and customer correspondence
Skills and Experience
  • Proven track record of successful account management across Woolworths, Coles or Independents
  • Experience of working with scan data e.g Aztec, AC Nielsen or Quantium
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong demonstrated experience of commercial and financial acumen
  • Degree qualification ideal, with Masters qualification seen as advantageous
  • Be up for the challenge – ability to work within exciting & dynamic working conditions
