The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing maintenance excellence, supporting teams with technical expertise, and leading initiatives to improve factory performance.
This role focuses on coaching and developing maintenance teams to drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor mechanical and electrical maintenance teams.
- Drive equipment reliability improvements using the MDI framework.
- Collaborate across departments to optimise maintenance activities.
- Support operators in applying Maintenance Excellence principles.
- Provide technical guidance to production teams.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to resolve equipment issues.
- Contribute to new installations and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies.
Experience:
- 5+ years in FMCG manufacturing (preferably 7+ years).
- Experience working with contractors and high-risk activities.
- Confidence in engaging and coaching teams at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong computer literacy & data analysis skills.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing (TPM, Six Sigma, MDI).
- Proficiency in SAP and Root Cause Analysis.
