About the Role:
Supporting the Commercial Manager & Site Manager, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Inventory and Bills of Material - maintain accurate records, conduct regular audits and log and reconcile discrepancies, volumes and costs
- Budgeting and Forecasting - collaborate cross departmentally to develop annual budgets and bi-annual forecasts, and present reports to senior management
- Cost and Performance Reporting - prepare regular performance reports on production volumes, efficiencies, and costs, identify and explain variances, providing corrective recommendations, produce cost analysis reports for management
- Cost-Out Initiatives - Support cost estimation and reduction initiatives for new and existing products, collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost-saving strategies and monitor and report progress
- General Accounting and Financial Support - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare and review related journal entries, ensure compliance and provide financial support to plant management and other departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, agriculural or FMCG environment
- Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork abilities
