Overview:
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsilbe for the cimpany's ANZ logistics network. This critical role is focused on managing and enhancing omni-channel distribution across the region to achieve and maintain optimal Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT) performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high service levels, streamlining logistics processes, and driving a best-in-class operation through effective collaboration with both internal and external partners, to ensure a first class customer service offering to a loyal and diverse customer base.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall logistics network for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), ensuring efficient operations across all distribution channels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and maintain optimal DIFOT performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to align objectives and streamline processes.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution across omni-channel platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and train logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate import operations and work closely with overseas suppliers to drive operational excellence.
  
Key Deliverables (First 6 Months):
  • Successfully transition to a 3PL model, ensuring all systems and processes are integrated effectively.
  • Maintain or exceed current service levels (DIFOT) throughout the transition.
  • Develop and implement a robust performance monitoring framework.
  • Establish strong working relationships with 3PL partners, internal teams, and overseas suppliers.
  • Identify and address any operational challenges promptly.
  
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in logistics management, with a core focus on transitioning from an in-house to an outsourced 3PL model. Retail experience desirable.
  • Strong understanding of 3PL operations combined with excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing import operations and working with overseas suppliers is highly desirable.
  
  
This role will suit a hands-on leader with a can do attitude, that is seeking an environment where changes can be made quickly without the requirement for multiple layers of approval. This role demands a wide degree of creativity and latitude, as you will lead and direct the work of others, including warehouse, export, and customer service staff.
