The Opportunity

Joining the head office based in Perth, you will be part of a trusted provider of services in the engineering and construction industry across Australia. As a Business Analyst joining the IT Team you will be an important part of developing, testing and implementing system updates and enhancements. You will lead engagements with technical specialists, providing guidance to systems developers and administrators.
  
You must be comfortable with guiding and mentoring other business analysts.

Required Experience:
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst performing similar duties to what is required
  • An understanding of the SDLC, basic exposure to programming or experience working closely with development teams essential
  • Business processes documentation using BPMN v2.0
  • Proven track record of successful facilitation and presentation in a professional setting
  • Strong analytical mindset, deadline driven and flexibility in your approach is required.
Key focus areas include but are not limited to:
  • Quality Assurance: Develop test scripts and plans, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Identify Business Needs and Solutions: Define business needs, develop feasible solutions, and document requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze budgets, sales, and forecasts to generate insights and predict outcomes.
  • Project Management: Lead sub-projects and coordinate project activities
  • Process Improvement and Risk Analysis: Model business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and evaluate costs, risks, and benefits.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to analyze and document requirements, simplifying technical information as needed.
  • Project Support and Transition: Assist with testing, support business transitions, and participate in project initiation and development of business cases.
  • Standards and Methodologies: Contribute to the creation and implementation of IT business analysis standards, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to other business analysts and coordinate project activities.
