Your Role:
As the Internal Audit Manager, you will lead internal audit and assurance services, providing high-quality support to the State Council (SC), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and State Executive Team. Reporting directly to the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) for work direction and the General Manager of Governance and Risk for daily management, you will:
- Develop and execute risk-based strategic and operational audit plans.
- Lead and support the audit team, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Conducting operational reviews to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide advisory services to enhance organisational performance and address operational risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for the Exectuive Leadership Team.
- Maintain the Internal Audit Charter and collaborate with external auditors.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in effective business communication, objective reporting, and conflict management.
- A commitment to upholding the mission and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society.
