The Position - HSE Manager
Our client is seeking an HSE Manager to bring passion, energy, and a proactive approach to their safety team. This role is essential in supporting the site through its transition, with a strong focus on leadership, on-site presence, and engagement. Reporting to the Head of HSE, who oversees the safety function within Supply Chain and Operations, the HSE Manager will lead a team of two, providing guidance and support to safety personnel, while working closely with contractors and environmental specialists on site.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the safety team, fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Oversee HSE operations at a key production site, driving continuous improvement initiatives across safety practices.
- Maintain a visible presence on site, engaging directly with contractors and addressing environmental challenges.
- Support the development of safety strategies and long-term planning, aligning with broader company goals and the needs of the site.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for key initiatives.
- Flexibility for a DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangement, ideally with 3 days per week on-site presence, with the option for a full relocation for the right candidate.
- Leadership Role: Play a pivotal part in shaping the safety culture during a period of significant change, leading a team of two.
