The Role - HSE Lead
In this position, you will play a pivotal part in guiding the site’s HSE framework, ensuring that standards and protocols not only meet but exceed regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with local leadership, utilize the support of a dedicated coordinator, and lead initiatives that foster a proactive, engaged safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive HSE roadmap in alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Partner with leadership teams to refine and improve safety processes on site.
- Perform thorough risk assessments, define corrective actions, and ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Design and deliver training programs to promote awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement at every level.
- Track, report, and analyze HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for enhancement and growth.
- Experience ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, capable of engaging stakeholders across various levels.
- Proven ability to transform strategic objectives into actionable HSE plans.
