As the new Head of Learning within a growing organisation you will provide leadership to a team of training professionals, partnering with multiple business areas, across the national footprint. You will drive continuous improvement and innovation through transformational and dynamic talent learning delivery.

Being a true Learning & Development Business Partner you will bring focus on;
  • Ensuring all programs meet current business strategic objectives, including regulatory and company policy requirements.
  • You will own external partner relationships, building valuable, effective and accountable partnerships.
  • Design, deploy and optimize the career development program across the varying employee cohorts.
  • Apply highly developed specialist skills, learning strategies and solutions in accordance with business objectives, policy and regulatory requirements to facilitate innovative learning opportunities
  • You will lead, coach, motivate and develop the learning team to deliver best practice outcomes. 
  • Working in Partnership with senior leaders and the management group you will provide relevant and practical advice across all operational learning activities with a focus on optimisation.
  • Build, Develop and Deploy capability workshops across the varying tenure groups of the organisation.
  What you will bring to the role;
  • You will have previous experience developing and leading an internal Leadership Program, ideally working with competency frameworks.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your ability to identify business needs and develop learning strategies in support of business objectives.
  • If will be beneficial if you have experience with digital learning platforms.
  • You will have previous experience in the creation and delivery of learning packages, including some instructional design.
  • You will posses advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • You will have the ability to build a high-performance team through structured ways of working and coaching methodologies
