The responsibilities
responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Reviewing the Funds’ balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) statements.
- Leading the year-end audit and coordinating the preparation of key deliverables.
- Reviewing the draft financial statements prepared by the Fund Accountants.
- Overseeing the compilation of information for external tax advisers and managing the process of disseminating tax statements to investors.
- Reviewing quarterly BAS reports for the Funds.
- Reviewing the Funds’ tax returns prepared by the external tax advisers.
- Cash management including forecasting the Funds’ cash needs for capital calls and determining cash available for distributions where relevant.
- Ensuring that all capital calls have been received from investors, and all distributions have been successfully paid to investors.
- Co-ordination of and input into quarterly revaluations process
- Ensuring expenses charged to the funds comply with fund documents/
- Assisting with the creation of investor materials and reviewing these materials for factual accuracy.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. 3-5 years exposure to a similar position within a relevant, project-based industry is desirable. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and autonomously. There is a travel requirement for this role.
