Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the organisation’s objectives. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic office environment with fluctuating workloads and will demonstrate flexibility in their role to support growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of client-owned assets in accordance with property management agreements, ensuring effective operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate effective communication and address financial needs.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, guiding them in day-to-day transactional work.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and general ledger maintenance.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead management accounting functions, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with BAS/GST submission timelines.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital requirements effectively.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve financial issues and support operational teams with timely information.
- Enhance the use of financial management systems and tools for effective reporting and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
