Become a part of an innovative, national distribution business as a Financial Controller sitting within the Group finance function. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the financial reporting function as well as being responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and partnering closely with senior stakeholders and executives in various ad-hoc projects/requests.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Ownership of all financial processes, controls and reporting in the business
- Accurate and timely delivery of monthly accounts
- Cash flow forecasting
- Foreign exchange management, analysis of hedging and PO commitments.
- Oversight of all AR/AP functions, responsible for accuracy, stakeholder service and aged payables management.
- Management of statutory reporting and tax compliance including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Workers comp.
- Support budgeting & forecasting processes
- Partner with senior and executive stakeholders
- Manage and lead a team of multiple direct reports.
You will be a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with outstanding communication and influencing skills. You will have experience within a corporate accounting environment and be technically astute with the ability to operate within a dynamic environment. Previous distribution experience will be considered highly advantageous as well as experience managing or mentoring a team.
