Sharp & Carter is partnering with a growing Agribusiness located in Melbourne's CBD. They have recently employed a new CFO and are expanding their finance team in addition to upgrading their finance systems.
The Role - Reporting to the Financial Controller
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide support to other departments on financial matters
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability of building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in the agricultural or livestock industry will be highly regarded
- $100,000 + Superannuation + Annual Bonus
