The Role
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and general ledger balances.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to support the company's operational and strategic goals.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper processes are followed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Financial Accountant role or broad Assistant Accountant position.
- Intermediate excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
