About the Role
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the finance function and supporting the Head of Finance with reporting, compliance, and operational finance tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial management, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial reporting, including month-end and year-end processes
- Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts, budgets, and trend analysis
- Manage cash flow and oversee general ledger reconciliations
- Support FX hedging requirements and external audit facilitation
- Review and manage supplier payments and operational finance functions
- Oversee vehicle fleet and international supplier requirements
- Improve financial processes through root-cause analysis and stakeholder collaboration
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role or similar
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow management
- Exposure to FX hedging and working with external auditors
- Experience within distribution, manufacturing, infrastructure, or a similar industry is highly regarded
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP system exposure
- Growing organisation with strong industry presence

- Full time in office with flexibility on start and finish times
- Salary $100-110K +Super
