The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibilities of this Financial Accountant role include:
- Preparation of the monthly/quarterly financial reports to be analysed by senior executives.
- Assist with production of the group's statutory accounts.
- Preparation of the cash flow forecast, supporting analysis and reconciliations, for inclusion in the monthly Finance report, and reporting of weekly cash balance.
- Work with the Financial Controller to provide support to the internal and external auditors as required.
- Seek continuous improvement of financial accounting processes to enable the delivery of an efficient and stream-lined service, documenting changes to processes and procedures.
- Play an active role in the development of financial reporting and the projects set up to deliver this to enhance overall financial control.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will be newly CA/CPA qualified or currently studying and have sound experience in a large complex commercial organisation or experience in a chartered environment. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to portray confidence in delivery of your reports and in the development of strong professional relationships with those within and outside of the finance team.
