The role is a business critical leadership opportunity where you will lead a high performing team of 5, be a key commercial business partner to the retail and wholesale businesses whilst enhancing the end to end finance function.

As a key member of the Leadership Team, your role is highly visible and is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of the Group through leading the accounting function, ensuring effective controls and procedures are in place and providing accurate and timely reporting to support commercial decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead, develop and drive the accounting team
• Leading the annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting process.
• Leading month end reporting, ensuring financial integrity of the accounts
• Business partnering closely with the leadership team to offer commercial analysis to support growth strategies
• Manage a finance team of 5 direct reports, including payroll.
• Manage annual financial reporting close, including tax.
• Manage annual insurance renewal
• Support FC & CFO in key strategic initiatives

Ideally you will have commenced your career within a chartered firm and have since gained commercial experience within the retail industry. Moreover, you will be personable, have excellent communication skills as your ability to interact and influence key senior stakeholders will be critical to your success.
