Locally they have operations nationally and turnover in excess of $1B. In addition to their core product offering, they invest heavily in R&D with world-class manufacturing to ensure they remain at the forefront of their market. 

Reporting to the ANZ Financial Controller this role will see you sit as the Finance lead overseeing a team of 5 across finance. Your primary focus will be:

• Lead and manage the Financial Accounting team ensuring all accountabilities are carried out accurately.
• Manage all corporate and consolidated reporting requirements.
• Prepare and execute monthly financial reporting, presenting the findings to the Executive leadership team.
• Manage the groups statutory obligations (financial reports, BAS, GST, FBT, income tax reporting).  
• Group consolidation activities including local and overseas intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead the annual audit process (external) and collaborate across sites for internal audit & compliance matters.
• Supervise, review and approve monthly and year-end reconciliations and schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee the stocktake and fixed asset audit.
• Manage all local taxation related matters (disclosure, reporting, audit).
• Manage group reporting and coordinate reporting queries.

The Person  

Firstly, you will have experience from a large corporate business, ideally multi-national / global or a complex local largescale business. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or similar would be adventurous. You will be fully CA/CPA qualified and technically capable. Other essential skills include:

• A strong technical/compliance background in finance.
• Strong Leadership skills with staff management experience.
• The ability to build and develop a team that operate and develop a customer service culture.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
