Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor finance staff, overseeing hiring and performance evaluations.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
- Develop and manage annual budgets in collaboration with senior management.
- Provide financial forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reporting to support strategic planning.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Communicate financial results to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Manage cash flow, including projections, working capital management, and optimizing the use of available funds.
- Monitor and oversee banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
