Our client, a market-leading retailer, is seeking a commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team. This business-critical role will see you working closely with senior leadership, providing data-driven insights, financial analysis, and commercial guidance to drive profitability and sustainable growth. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, optimising business performance, and influencing decision-making across multiple business units in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate key financial metrics, providing actionable insights on revenue growth, gross profit margins, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with operational teams to understand business challenges and offer financial recommendations that drive success.
- Lead the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Analyse and benchmark financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Proactively support business growth by developing financial models, scenario planning, and investment strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy for better efficiency and decision-making.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial role.
- CA or CPA qualifications (essential).
- A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- A salary of up to $140,000 + Super.
