About the role:

 
The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for bridging the sales and marketing departments, ensuring strategic alignment and effective collaboration. Coordinate & produce quality resources, manage events and tailor marketing materials, and manage MCO, to support the sales team and customers.

Duties:
 
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the focus is to work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans for product launches as well as assist with new product development. Other duties of this role will include:
  • Strategic Alignment: This plays a pivotal role in ensuring strategic alignment between the marketing and sales departments. You will facilitate ongoing communication, ensuring that sales teams are well-informed about marketing initiatives and that marketing efforts are tailored to support sales goals.
  • Resource Coordination: Leads material development, ensuring sales teams receive the necessary marketing materials, training, and support to effectively engage with customers and consumers, and are resourced with the appropriate tools. 
  • Regional Tailoring: Drives the development of marketing collateral tailored to regional and market-specific needs to a high standard. This includes local area marketing (LAM), data sheets, brochures, presentations, case studies, CPD, and product guides that resonate with local audiences.
  • New Product Launches: Takes charge of planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new product launches to budget and Gantt chart. Ensuring that all aspects of the launch are meticulously planned, from launch frameworks, point of sale execution, and product readiness & assets to marketing communications and messaging. 
  • Consistency and Branding: While tailoring materials, ensuring consistency with the overall brand guidelines and messaging, maintaining a unified brand identity across different regions/audiences.
  • Competitor Analysis: In addition to customer insights, works closely and monitors competitor activities. Collecting intelligence on competitor strategies, product offerings, and positioning.
Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification Marketing or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a generalist marketing role &/or trade, product marketing role.
  • Demonstrable B2B and B2C marketing experience.
  • Ability to meet with the global marketing based in the UK 1-2 times a fortnight.
  • Expertise in developing and managing marketing materials, including print requirements.
  • Ability to bridge/align sales & marketing efforts; & to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong content development and editing abilities.
  • Proficiency in understanding and conveying product details.
